Peter van der Kraan, PhD
Peter M. van der Kraan is full professor Experimental Rheumatology and Head of Experimental Rheumatology at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS), Department of Rheumatology, Radboudumc, Nijmegen. Research interests include the pathophysiology of osteoarthritis with a special interest in the role of growth factors (e.g. TGF beta, wnts, BMPs, CTGF) in pathological processes and repair. Research is focused on the elucidation of how altered interpration and integration of extracellular stimuli results in disease, and to apply this knowledge to develop new effective therapies.
