OARSI Young Investigator Workshop

OA imaging: A Look to the Future with Novel Imaging Approaches

Timeslot: Thursday, April 27, 2017 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

About

Whether at cellular, tissue or whole-organ level, imaging modalities are essential for diagnosis and quantitative assessment of experimental and human osteoarthritis. X-ray, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging belong to the routine imaging techniques for basic and clinical science in osteoarthritis. The continuously evolving osteoarthritis research field, will inevitably witness the advent of novel high-resolution imaging approaches. The Young Investigator committee is excited to offer a sneak preview of the upcoming imaging approaches for osteoarthritis, including photo-acoustic imaging and contrast-enhanced computed tomography. The workshop will feature presentations by world wide experts followed by a forum discussion. Please note, the workshop is open to all OARSI participants.
