Designer Scaffolds for Cartilage Repair

The search for replacement body parts has fuelled the highly interdisciplinary field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine (1,2) as a treatment for the failure of one part of the body – the knees, for example. This talk will also describe our research on the design of new imaging approaches (3) and new materials to direct stem cell differentiation for regenerative medicine (4).
